THE MONTREAUX DIFFERENCE
What we do
Montreaux creates landmark developments and tailor-made homes across Greater London and the Southeast. We procure land and buildings – including infill, brownfield, or disused sites – and design better developments in order to usher in positive change to communities.
Established in 2014, our entrepreneurial spirit has seen us become one of the fastest growing property and investment companies. We build with the end user in mind, developing homes and neighbourhoods that people want to live in, places people want to go to, and creating a legacy that lasts.
Our Three Pillars of Sustainability
We believe in the ‘power of place’ to transform the lives of individuals and communities and are acutely conscious of the environment we share. We carefully consider the impacts of how we build, the materials we use, and the energy we consume which has led us to operate under three pillars of sustainability.
Within these pillars – by implementing the latest technologies, using natural and durable materials, and limiting the impact of every development – we aspire to build homes that will perform well for people both today and in the future.
Our Carbon Zero Strategy
We work with analysts to reduce the carbon footprint of our work, on-site, and build practices, and assess how the buildings we develop perform for homeowners. The outcomes include using local, regional and ‘near-sourcing’ of materials and products, replacing or eliminating gas in all of our current and future builds, and using natural, durable, and low carbon materials wherever possible.
As well as reducing operational impact on waste created on-site, we also minimise operational impact in our office environment. Where impact cannot be avoided, we offset carbon through carefully curated investments that have both short and long-term results.
Our social awareness strategy
Wherever we build, we build back better. We do this by acquiring sites where we know we can add value, often targeting derelict, brownfield, and former commercial sites for the purpose of rejuvenating redundant and unloved spaces as joyous places. In all our developments we look to create both private and communal areas to foster a closer community whilst maintaining the highest quality of living. As part of our social and natural environmental approach, we focus on investing resources in reinstating green areas, creating gardens with native planting, and adding sympathetic animal habitats to promote and ensure bio-diversity.
Our performance and governance strategy
We have a duty to create a sustainable business so as to invest further and faster in the latest technologies and materials. Combined with clear goals of sustainability, this allows the creativity and flexibility to get the very best out of every location. We work to a clear set of Montreaux values. We are community-minded, caring about the environment and considering the impact of everything we do to create moments of joy. We strive to achieve outstanding outcomes by always seeking ‘better’. We take ownership of all we do and how we do it, leveraging expertise and commitment to work with precision and pace.
Our mission is simple: to deliver exceptional residential and mixed-use property developments. With extensive industry experience, the leadership at Montreaux has an in-depth working knowledge of investments, planning, development, and operational property opportunities that is second-to-none. Our exceptional team of professionals are fundamental optimists and enthusiasts that combines their success and varied experience to build beautifully designed, high specification new homes that harmonise with their location. HOMES FOR THE UK
Benchmark Developments from our Teams
Our spirit and purpose is to build quality homes, invigorate communities, and make a lasting positive difference to the life of our residents.
Former Maypole Margarine site, Southall, London
Montreaux has worked closely with LB Ealing and other key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive and robust RMA which delivers a total of 867 new homes for LB Ealing in a mixture of market, intermediate and affordable rented tenures, and therefore significantly contributes towards the Council’s published housing targets. In total, 2,083 homes are being planned which includes the initial 867 of its first phase.
Urban Picturehouse was developed with place in mind. It takes inspiration from the art deco style of the original Odeon theatre that stood on the site. The new building is intended to restore some of the former glamour of the art deco period with a frontage that features glazed tiles, a multi-dimensional façade, and large windows to take advantage of natural light.
This was a bespoke project in one of Kingswood’s finest locations. At the owners’ discretion, the house offers four generous bedroom suites and a separate annexe although it was designed to provide up to seven bedrooms if preferred. There is a large double garage with high security doors and to the rear a detached air-conditioned gymnasium or home-office.
